Elton John and Dua Lipa are laughing all the way to the bank, on the back of the laziest number 1 in history.
Elton made a record by having a number one hit in 6 decades, And this latest one is the laziest one.
Let me explain how this is the laziest mix. The first thing the drum track is the same drum loop over and over again.
Dua Lipa just turned up and sang, there’s nothing in her performance to say she even tried.
Elton just repeats the same thing over.
And at no point is there a duet. Did they even record together?
We have Cold Heart on our roster, as we play music from the 80’s to today, and it’s obviously selling and being listened to.
My grief is it’s just a lazy mix, it sounds like it was whacked together to get the track out before Kylies collaboration album.
I challenge you to listen to the original versions of the songs and see if you can see what I mean.
Just in the vocals alone, you can hear the newly mixed version deserved much more. Listen to Rocket Man. Around the 2:50min mark.

It just proves anyone with a drum machine and a bit of a voice can produce a number one hit.
