Hey PopRockers, over the last couple of weeks we have been trialing our Keep Or Dump Pre Pilot, and the response has been awesome!

We had four great tracks, but unfortunately, as they say there can be only one winner. I believe all four of the artists that we had are amazing and they all deserve a kudos.

If you didn’t get to vote here are the four tracks in no set order.

Life in Real Time – Good Lekker

Forming in 2017 Good Lekker emerged from Wollongong for the first time. Two years on and the band have become local favourites, gaining a significant fan base nationally, whilst developing an energetic live show filled with thick synths and dirty riffs. Watch them on YouTube Here.

Hey Lets Play – Nonbinarycode

After growing up on a diet of grunge, punk and stadium rock, Nonbinarycode were always almost destined to end up creating a cabaret punk style. Nonbinarycode celebrate the
diversity of all humans through music. Nonbinarycode on YouTube is here.

Hurricane – Bellwether

We don’t have much on Bellwether, except to say they are a punk Band from NSW, and they have been releasing music since 2021. Bellwether are pretty active on social media, so look them up! Watch them on YouTube Here.

Big Bad Mess – Jason Myles

Jason originally from South Africa, came to Australia with his family a few years ago. We have an interview with Jason you can watch it here. You can check out more from Jason Here

Keep Or Dump Pre Pilot Results

Are you ready for the results?

The Bottom two, came in with 1.2% and 5.4% of the votes, we wont say who got what, but the final two were Life in Real Time, by Good Lekker, and Hurricane – Bellweather.

The surprise for me were the final two. But with 20.8% of the vote Nonbinary code with “Hey Lets Play” came in second behind the winner of the Pilot Jason Myles with “Big Bad Mess”. Jason scored 72.6% of the vote.

Obviously we will reach out to Jason and invite him back for another chat, so make sure you subscribe to our YouTube Channel. It’s easy to subscribe just click this or the previous link.

Donner DMK 25 pro

I want to do a special mention to Nonbinarycode. They put up a great challenge and were very active sharing on social media. So we will reach out and invite them for a chat on our Podcast.

Now for the winner we will add Jason to the Poprock Radio play list. All four of these great talents will be added to PopRock Nation our 100% Australian only Music Station.

You can listen to our stations from our Website Music players, or get our free App available for Apple and Android!
