This ones for the metal heads out there.

Well I just sat down after dinner and feeding the studio pups. I’m looking at my computer screen, contemplating opening up an email. Scrolling through he email not really paying attention, because its getting close to bed time.

I get to – We have released a very good EP for the UK’s metal band called Junction 28. The cynic in me, We have released a very good EP. How many times have I heard those or similar words. One thing that caught my eye was Metal Band, We play pop Rock… Side Note we a re considering a metal station.

Before You Drown

I’m thinking it wouldn’t hurt to listen, would it. I open the drop box folder, 5 Track EP.

  • Exist Forget
  • Suffocate
  • Edge of Hatred
  • Don’t Say
  • Walls

Now when a band puts out 5 tracks on an EP, I would expect one maybe 2 tracks would make the cut for us. In this case we have 5. Yes these guys have released a very good EP. Maybe they should change it to amazing EP. The Title of the EP Before You Drown, is a must for you metal and even not so metal heads. Junction 28 welcome to PopRock radio.

Combining raw, energetic performances with their own distinct musical flair,
Junction 28 are paving the way as an influential alternative rock band for the
modern generation. Since joining forces in 2019, the group has captivated
fans with their signature sound and entrancing stage presence. New listeners
will be hooked from the first note.

Junction 28

Junction 28 is a band hailing from Essex in the UK. Aiming to combine huge riffs, dense electronics andsoaring vocals into one cohesive aural assault, the group is now ready to show its new face to the world.

Their first EP, “Before You Drown” is set to be released later in the summer. Recorded at Hidden Track Studios in Folkestone with producer Oz Craggs, the project weaves together the new and the familiar, its five tracks speak to a plethora of topics drawn from the band member’s own lives and personal struggles.
