If you went clubbing in the Mid to late 2000s. There’s no doubt that you would have heard a song by Cascada.

Here are 10 things you didn’t know about Cascada. First A video.

ONE

Cascada was founded in 2004 By Natalie Horler, Dj Manian, and DJ Yanou.

TWO

Natalie was Born In Bonn Germany to British Parents. Natalie still resides in Bonn.

Three

Cascada have released multiple albums, but only two songs have faired well in Australia, Everytime we touch and Evacuate the dance floor.

Four

German Eurodance group Cascada has released six studio albums (including a Christmas and an acoustic album), four compilation albums, one remix album, 32 singles (including one as a featured artist), one promotional single, and 25 music videos.

Cascada experienced mainstream success in the United Kingdom and the United States almost a year after releasing their second American single, “Everytime We Touch”, which interpolates the chorus of a 1992 Maggie Reilly song of the same name.

Six

In early June 2012, a video clip of Horler performing a cover of Corona’s “The Rhythm of the Night” surfaced online. “The Rhythm of the Night” was released on 22 June 2012 in Germany and in the USA Watch the video above

Cascada is not afraid to cover other songs. As Mentioned they did The Rhythm of the night, But they also did Truly, Madly Deeply, by Savage Garden.

For the better part of 2016, Horler was busy touring parts of Norway and the United Kingdom, while also working the studio with Yanou on new material. Brazilian producer Cassiano collaborated with Cascada on a cover version of “Praise You” by Mary Mary. This was released on 10 June 2016

Eight

Prior to being known as Cascada, the trio was Cascade. But as Kascade another artist with a similar name threatened to sue, they changed their name to Cascada.

Nine

In October 2020 Cascada released a new single, a cover of “I’m Feeling It (In the Air)”. The track was previously released in 2017 by Sunset Bros & Mark McCabe. It was released in the UK by Xploded Music. The track brings Cascada back to their clubland roots which many fans have praised.

Ten

Since 11 May 2011, Horler has been married to the banker Moritz Raffelberg; they were privately married in Italy, with Horler wearing a dress she had designed herself. She appeared on the cover of the German August 2011 issue of Playboy magazine.
