Let’s go back in time, back in 1992, Rick Price shot up the Australian music charts. Ricks album Heaven Knows reached number 3 on the Australian Charts,

Most Aussies who were around back in 1992 would remember ” Not a day goes by” but that album spawned a number of hits for Rick. They Were Heaven Knows, and Walk away Renee.

One of the things I remember from back in 1992, was the CD cover for the single, “Not a day goes by”, it had a calendar in it! Try downloading one of those.

I was in Cairns North Queensland back in 1992, it was during this time Rick was flooding the airwaves. Playing on 4CA. this is where I met a lifelong friend, The late-night DJ on 4CA North Queensland overnight.

The third hit from the Album was this little one called “Walk Away Renee”

Walk away Renee was a hit for the Four Tops back in 1967. But I prefer the Ricks version, yeah it’s the Aussie favoritism!

Rick has released more music over the years but nothing has come close to the album Heaven Knows, Back in 2017, Rick teamed up with Jack Jones from Southern Sons to release an album Californian Dreaming reaching number 7 on the ARIA Charts.
