Pete Murray is back with a stunning new single, Home To Me. Blending folk and country elements with his signature warmth, Pete delivers a heartfelt tribute to finding ‘the one.’

A Soulful Acoustic Journey

Home To Me shimmers with acoustic guitar, smooth vocals, and soft, shuffling percussion. It’s an exciting fusion of Pete’s folk-rock roots and fresh sonic textures. Speaking on his influences, Pete shares, “I’ve been listening to a bit of Kenny Rogers. He has some classic songs. The country artist I’ve been listening to is Chris Stapleton. Chris has a killer voice and guitar tone.”

Pete Murray From Nashville to Australia

Written in Nashville, Home To Me came to life ahead of Pete’s first-ever co-writing session in the ‘Country Music Capital of the World.’ With Aussie songwriter Phil Barton, producer Garrett Kato, and engineer Luke Palmer, Pete crafted a deeply personal yet universal love letter. Benny Edger’s lap steel guitar further enhances the track’s country essence.

Pete recalls, “I wanted to write country music for someone else, but I was nervous I’d have nothing to bring to the session. So I started writing that night. By the next day, half the song was already done. Phil Barton worked his magic, and before we knew it, the song was finished.”

A Career of Legendary Hits

With over 1.2 million albums sold, three ARIA chart-toppers, and 17 ARIA Award nominations, Pete Murray is one of Australia’s most beloved artists. From his debut The Game in 2001 to the breakout Feeler in 2003 and 2017’s Comacho, Pete’s smooth vocals and emotional depth have won him fans worldwide. His iconic hits—Better Days, Feeler, Opportunity, and So Beautiful—remain staples of Australian music.

Pete Murray’s Biggest Tour Yet

2025 marks Pete’s first-ever 56-date acoustic solo tour across Australia, joined by Rachael Fahim and Brett Wood. His stripped-down performances showcase raw emotion and intimate storytelling.

“So many shows have sold out, and others are close!” Pete shares. “It’s been a very different tour for me, my first solo run in Australia. Lots of stories, lots of sing-alongs.”

His standout Melbourne Recital Centre show drew rave reviews, with Lilithia Reviews calling him “a natural performer, an incredible songwriter, and someone who makes every show feel like an intimate campfire chat.”
