You know the band, you’ve heard the band and you’ve confused the band.

Yep that’s right, you probably heard another band and said that’s Life house. But let’s not confuse Lifehouse with The Calling.

So you think you know the difference? I thought I did, bit in a resent conversation I looked like a right dill, because I was caught out.

Lifehouse comes from Los Angeles, USA. Led by frontman Jason Wade, Rick Woolstenhulme on Drums and percussion, Bryce Soderberg on Bass and Vocals, and Steve Stout Lead Guitar.

Lifehouse hit the mainstream charts back in 2001 with the hit “Hanging by a moment”

Genres: Alternative rockpost-grungepop rock
Years active: 1995–present

Lifehouse released 7 albums from 2001 and 2013. When the band announced its hiatus after parting ways with their label.

Their Hiatus was relatively short-lived and in 2014 got back together, and announced a new album titled 7 would be released in 2015. The new album was released but with a new title, out of the wasteland.

When Lifehouse came out of hiatus, they did so with a new lead guitarist, Steve Stout, it was stated on their website that the then Guitarist Ben Carey would leave to pursue his own projects.

In April 2021, Life house released a new single cut and run, and have followed with a few more this year (2021).

From the thousands of music clips floating around, the clip to Halfway Gone is probably one of the best going around.

The music video, begins with an out-of-focus view of Wade, seemingly alone, coming up a hill towards the camera. When he stops and starts singing, the camera comes into focus and the other band members come out from behind him and start lip-synching his vocals. A group of people (In which one of them is YouTube star, Wendy McColm) pull up in cars and they also lip-synch the song, in addition to performing other activities throughout the video. The video’s effects allow people to seemingly appear out of nowhere throughout the video.
