If you haven’t been to see a Show by Boo Seeka, may I suggest you do.

Who or What is Boo Seeka? It is the solo project of Ben “Boo” Gumbleton. Ben is a singer-songwriter and electro-pop performer.

Until this point I had never been to a Boo Seeka show or knew much about his style of performing, I can say I was blown away.

From the moment he lept on stage to the very last steps off, Boo Seeka took control, the crowd feeding off his seemingly endless energy, and the venue, “Freo Social” pumped.

From his hypnotic dancing around to blasting out his guitar, there wasn’t a moment where he stood still. And the motion was infectious, even I busted a move or two.

When we arrived at the venue, we were blown away by the crowd, there was a very eclectic mix of people from people in their 60s down to partygoers in their early twenties. There was even a younger person there, and the man had composure and did not swear. Even tho he let one or two expletives out he did apologise.

We were stunned by the mix of the crowd, as it was St Patrick’s day there was probably a Leprechaun there too. That shows how wide his audience base is.

Electro-pop

Boo Seeka’s performance was first class, electro-pop at its finest, in an era driven by RnB, Rock and Post Punk, Boo bought his game and proved Electro Pop is alive and well baby!

I went to the show not knowing any Boo’s tracks, I’d heard one or two for an earlier article, but I couldn’t tell you which songs were which, but that didn’t matter because Boo drew you into the performance, you became part of the spectacular! Read our other Boo Seeka Article Here

The sound quality from the show was second to none, the bass was real, and it didn’t distort in your eardrums, no, it blew you away, you could feel the shock of the bass wrap around you and make you react to the music first a foot tapping next your whole body is finding a rhythm and by the end of the song you immersed in the awesome world of Boo Seeka.

To Summerise the show, Boo Didn’t disappoint, you can tell he loves what he does, the crowd loves what he does, and you will too when you go to a Boo Performance. I reckon you will see us there!

10 outta 10.
