While it may seem obvious that Kaitlyn was destined to be in the music industry it wasn’t always in the plan “When I was younger I never really knew what I wanted to do. But I knew I loved writing creative stories! Throughout my younger years in school, I would find myself writing short stories and trying to build them into a novel chapter by chapter.
That was all until I opened garage band. I started playing with loops and cutting/mixing songs and absolutely loved it to the point I wanted to start lessons to learn more. In my first-ever lesson, my mentor at the time (Tori Marshall) started off by introducing songwriting and I wasn’t too keen on it as I just wanted to produce.
But after continuing the lessons and writing many songs I fell in love with it and found my passion which made me want to pursue it as a career!”
Kaitlyn’s highly anticipated music is inspired by artists such as Anne-Marie and Hailee Steinfeld. She has been working on a body of music with local producer Jethro and music mentors Alex Hosking, Kirsty Roberts, Cate Dyer, and Amelie Peters at the Studio and Star Factory. But Being the perfectionist she is she won’t release the music until it is absolutely perfect. Keep an eye out for Kaitlyn Page as she is one artist you don’t want to miss!
The song “Don’t Hit Me Up” is a fun upbeat pop song filled with multiple guitar runs, a tropical marimba feel, and an incredible bass line. Hints of artists like Anne-Marie and Hailee Steinfeld can be heard in this song.
So PopRockers, That’s Kaitlyn! Dont forget to Like, Love, Share and Follow, oh and now Subscribe!
