360 Is Back: The Aussie Hip-Hop Icon Reclaims the Spotlight with Tour and New Album

ARIA Award-winning and multi-platinum Australian rapper 360 is ready to take center stage again. This July and August, he will launch his national Out Of The Blue Tour, performing in some of the country’s largest venues. The highly anticipated tour will include stops in Melbourne, Hobart, Sydney, Brisbane, Adelaide, and Perth. Joining him on this exciting venture will be his longtime collaborator and Australian hip-hop legend PEZ.

The tour coincides with the release of 360’s fifth studio album, Out Of The Blue, which is set to drop in July. Fans can already pre-save the album to ensure they’re among the first to hear what the Aussie icon has been working on. Tickets for the Out Of The Blue Tour will be available to the public starting Friday, March 21, at 9 am local time. Fans can register for presale tickets now at 360music.com.au, with the presale beginning Thursday, March 20, from 9 am local time.

360’s Return to the Stage

360, whose real name is Matt Colwell, burst onto the music scene in the early 2010s and quickly became one of Australia’s most beloved rappers. With his knack for storytelling, genre-blending artistry, and electrifying stage presence, he has captivated audiences worldwide. Over the years, he’s performed alongside global superstars such as Eminem and Kendrick Lamar. His live shows at festivals like Lollapalooza, Big Day Out, and Splendour In The Grass have left lasting impressions on fans.

After a six-year break from regular touring, 360 returned in 2023 with his Back To Life Regional Tour, which sold out several dates across Australia. The following months saw him release new music and connect with fans, setting the stage for an even bigger 2025. This year’s Out Of The Blue Tour is expected to showcase a mix of his classic hits and fresh tracks, including his recent single, Save My Soul. Fans can look forward to experiencing his dynamic flow and signature raw honesty live on stage.

Behind the Music: 360’s Latest Single, Save My Soul

Save My Soul, one of the lead singles from 360’s upcoming album, Out Of The Blue, is a heartfelt and introspective track. The single, released earlier this month, combines old-school beats with glossy production. Its emotional yet uplifting tone reflects 360’s growth as both an artist and an individual. Flitting between powerful rap verses and serene chorus vocals, 360 delivers a poignant story of transformation and hope.

Accompanied by a sharp and visually stunning music video, Save My Soul is already gaining significant attention. The track signals the creative heights that fans can expect from the rest of the Out Of The Blue album.

360 shared his thoughts about the song, stating, “It’s been really exciting to start releasing new music. I’ve spent most of my career battling mental health issues and addiction while releasing albums. To now be in a healthy and happy place is exhilarating. I’ve finally let go of the need for approval from others, which used to dictate every aspect of my life. It’s liberating.”

360’s Remarkable Career Journey

360’s rise to fame began in 2008 with his debut album, What You See Is What You Get. However, it was his sophomore album, Falling & Flying, that cemented his place in Australian music history. Released in 2011, the album was a groundbreaking blend of rap, pop, and electronic influences. It peaked at #4 on the ARIA Albums Chart and achieved double-platinum certification. Songs like Boys Like You and Killer earned him widespread acclaim and multiple ARIA Awards, including wins for Breakthrough Artist – Release and Producer of the Year.

Over the years, 360 released two more albums, Utopia in 2014 and Vintage Modern in 2017. Both records showcased his innovative artistry and emotional depth, with Utopia reaching #2 on the ARIA charts and earning gold certification. Despite facing personal challenges—including a near-fatal accident in 2010 and struggles with addiction—360 has remained a powerful voice in the Australian hip-hop scene.

What to Expect from the Out Of The Blue Album

The Out Of The Blue Tour holds extra significance as it reunites 360 with his longtime collaborator, PEZ. Together, they’ve created iconic tracks that defined an era of Australian hip-hop. Their chemistry on stage promises to elevate the live experience for fans.

Speaking about the tour, 360 shares, “I’m so keen to be back touring, but having PEZ with me makes it even more special. We’ve reconnected so much over the past year, and fans will definitely see that on stage. Expect high energy and a show that tells a story of my life.”

A New Chapter for 360

The year 2025 marks an exciting new era for 360. In addition to the release of Out Of The Blue and his national tour, fans can also look forward to his upcoming project, The Forthwrite Podcast. As always, 360 remains committed to pushing boundaries and connecting with his audience in meaningful ways.

This year, 360 is proving once again why he’s one of Australia’s most prolific and enduring artists. With a highly anticipated album and a tour designed to dazzle, this is a moment in 360’s career that fans won’t want to miss.
