Adelaide rockers The Superjesus just announced two additional WA shows for their upcoming tour. Catch them live on July 3 at Carine Glades Tavern in Duncraig and July 4 at Rosemount Hotel in Perth. Fans can experience the band’s electrifying energy at these new tour dates.
The national tour kicks off June 6 at The Crowbar in Sydney, before heading to Avalon RSL, Melbourne’s Corner Hotel, Barwon Heads Hotel, Brisbane’s Crowbar, and Norton Music Factory on the Sunshine Coast. The final show happens at Adelaide’s iconic live music venue, The Bridgeway. Tickets are available now at thesuperjesus.com.
The Superjesus are releasing their first full-length album in 20 years, dropping March 21. Fans can pre-order the highly anticipated self-titled record now. The album features their new ballad Diamonds, alongside the band’s recent singles—Money (We’re Only In It For Love), Lights Out, We Won’t Let Go Until It’s Over, Something Good, plus a cover of Dancing With Myself. All five singles received national airplay, setting the tone for an unforgettable release.
After decades refining their craft, Sarah McLeod and Stuart Rudd have reached a new creative peak. “Our writing partnership has blossomed into an incredible space for creativity,” says Rudd. The latest album reflects a matured, soulful version of The Superjesus, where songwriting takes centre stage. Diamonds showcases how far the band has evolved, blending emotive piano composition with McLeod’s rich, timeless vocals.
For nearly 30 years, The Superjesus have remained one of Australia’s most respected live acts. Emerging in the late ’90s, they signed to Warner Music worldwide and released three iconic albums—Sumo, Jet Age, and Rock Music, two of which went platinum. The three-time ARIA Award winners briefly took a hiatus in the mid-2000s but returned in 2013 to reconnect with fans. Their successful comeback led to 2016’s Love And Violence EP and a double live album.
South Australian Music Hall Of Fame inductees, The Superjesus, maintain a relentless work ethic and an unmistakable knack for crafting unforgettable hooks. With classics like Gravity, Secret Agent Man, Down Again, and Now And Then, their songwriting has always stood strong. Now, they’re back, more powerful than ever. According to Rudd, “We’re not going anywhere anytime soon.” McLeod adds, “Creating this album has been soul-enriching. It’s our best work yet—I love every song on this record.”
